Job summary

Pioneer Selection Ltd is sourcing a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer for a factory in Bilsthorpe. The role offers a salary of £55,000 - £55,500 and a 4 on 4 off shift pattern (days and nights, 12 hours).

You will maintain and service automated production machinery to maximise uptime in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate has a mechanical bias, is apprentice-trained, and holds a Level 3 Engineering qualification with at least eight years’ experience in manufacturing maintenance.

Qualifications

• Mechanical bias with an apprentice-trained background.
• Minimum 8 years' experience in a production environment as a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer.
• Level 3 Engineering qualification and a strong attitude toward learning and development.

Responsibilities

• Carry out mechanical maintenance and planned preventive maintenance on fully automated production machinery.
• Ensure maximum uptime and efficiency of production equipment.

• Requirements for the Mechanical Maintenance Engineer:
• Level 3 Engineering qualification
• Must have a great attitude towards learning and self development
• Able to hit the ground running, wanting to get hands on assisting the team
• A team player who enjoys keeping busy
• To live within 30 minutes from site

Desirable Requirements for the Mechanical Maintenance Engineer:

• Experience working as a Maintenance Engineer in the UK
