Job summary

CBRE Global Workplace Solutions in Milton Keynes is seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to deliver planned and reactive maintenance on site. You will manage M&E plant and fabric services, ensuring compliance with CBRE QHSE guidelines and ISO standards while coordinating with the account team and contractors to maintain high service levels.

The role requires a City & Guilds Level 3 in mechanical discipline, 2+ years’ experience, and strong communication with clients.

Qualifications

• At least two years in a similar mechanical maintenance role.
• City & Guilds level 3 or equivalent in a mechanical discipline.
• Experience managing the log book system and QA/QHSE records.
• Knowledge of Fire Alarm Systems, Generators, Mechanical & Electrical Services, HV & AC and Water Systems Treatment.
• Knowledge of lifts and associated services.
• Ability to supervise contractors and work with site teams.
• Strong communication with clients and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring the efficient operation, maintenance and repair of the site's M&E plant and fabric services.
• Use of CAFM system to monitor staff performance and service delivery.
• Ensure compliance with CBRE QHSE ISO standards and manage responsibilities on site.
• Assist in reactive repairs to M&E systems.
• Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance and reactive tasks to maintain service levels.
• Supervise specialist contractors on site and sign off minor works with the Contract Manager.
• Contribute to risk assessments and method statements.
• Attend monthly team meetings and toolbox talks.
• Provide training to ensure competency for works.
