Responsibilities and duties of the Lead Mechanical Project Engineer
  • Reporting to the Head of Engineering, you will:
  • Lead the design, development, and implementation of engineering strategies for large-scale capital and CCGT lifetime extension projects.
  • Provide expert mechanical engineering oversight for all stages of project development and execution, including specification, tender evaluation, and commissioning.
  • Deliver robust technical support to operational sites, ensuring high standards of safety, reliability, and performance.
  • Oversee engineering quality assurance, including works witness testing and progress monitoring of contractors and OEMs.
  • Support the planning and execution of major plant outages, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
  • Drive plant performance improvement initiatives across the fleet through data analysis and continuous improvement.
