Qualifications

• Connaissance des systèmes mécaniques de projet.

Responsibilities

• Assurer l'achèvement des activités mécaniques dans le respect des normes de sécurité.
• Effectuer des inspections de site des travaux MEP pour garantir la conformité.
• Émettre des rapports hebdomadaires de progrès et de coûts.

Reporting to the MEP Construction Manager in the region, the key requirements include:

• 3rd Level Building Services / Mechanical Engineering Degree and/or Trade background
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a site-based MEP role
• Strong collaboration skills and ability to work within a high-performance team

Key responsibilities:

• Ensure mechanical activities are completed safely, prioritizing health and safety for all stakeholders
• Lead by example, ensuring awareness and adherence to company health & safety policies and procedures
• Be aware of hazardous energies and site-specific management strategies (Lock Out Tag Out)
• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of project mechanical systems and monitor installation compliance with specifications and schedule
• Understand project-specific commissioning requirements and assist in developing commissioning plans
• Conduct site inspections of Mechanical, BAS/BMS, MEP & CSA works to ensure compliance
• Coordinate that areas meet CSA and MEP quality standards for beneficial use in line with the construction program
• Provide stakeholders with sufficient information to facilitate system installation and progress
• Ensure contractors and vendors are properly resourced to complete works efficiently
• Review construction schedules to optimize sequencing of Mechanical and CSA activities
• Chair and contribute to onsite and offsite meetings with project stakeholders
• Issue weekly progress and cost reports as needed
• Manage subcontractor activities, tracking progress and manpower
• Review and ensure deliverables from mechanical stakeholders, including programs, execution documents, risk assessments, progress reports, and handover packs
