Motive Offshore Group is seeking a skilled Fitter to join our manufacturing team in the UK. You will be responsible for assembling main parts and components, ensuring production runs smoothly and on schedule, and adhering to health, safety and quality standards.

You will read engineering drawings, interpret specifications and work instructions, and collaborate with colleagues to deliver high-quality work. A strong focus on safety, teamwork and continuous improvement is essential for success in

Qualifications

• Experience in mechanical fitting or assembly in a manufacturing/engineering environment.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Experience assembling components from drawings and work instructions.
• Competent in using hand tools, power tools, and measuring equipment.
• Understanding of WIP systems and production planning.
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Carry out the smooth running of production and assemble main parts and components per engineering drawings.
• Ensure products are manufactured efficiently and within the delivery schedule while complying with Health and Safety guidelines.
• Work with the Fitting team to deliver high-quality results and support professional development.
• Review drawings, specifications and work lists to determine required materials and equipment.
• Raise supplier requisitions for consumables and communicate with other departments.
