Zusammenfassung

Proactive Global is seeking a Mechanical Fitter to assemble, test, inspect and prepare units per engineering specs and production schedules. You will ensure RFT and OTIF while upholding HSE standards, collaborating with the Assembly team and cross-functional colleagues to meet customer and contractual requirements.

The role requires reading detailed drawings, using inspection tools, and logging manufacturing operations in the ERP system.

Qualifikationen

• Recognised qualification in mechanical engineering or discipline.
• Ability to read and interpret detailed engineering drawings and specs.
• Competent use of mechanical measuring and inspection equipment.

Aufgaben

• Read and interpret detailed engineering drawings, specifications and technical documentation.
• Follow relevant quality plans, procedures and work instructions to ensure products meet standards.
• Assemble and disassemble units and components safely and efficiently.
• Carry out rigging and de-rigging activities per procedures and safety requirements.
• Prepare and paint units and components prior to despatch.
• Safely use measuring and inspection equipment and produce reports.
• Carry out pressure testing and complete relevant documentation.
• Operate pneumatic and electrical hand tools safely.
• Book on to and close manufacturing operations in the ERP system.
• Work with cross-functional teams to meet contractual, quality and delivery targets.
• Support Right First Time (RFT) and On Time in Full (OTIF) targets.
• Maintain 5S and a clean, organized working environment.
• Maintain safety culture and report health, safety, quality or process issues.
