Job summary

Airbus Operations Limited is offering an undergraduate internship at the Broughton site in North Wales, focused on maintenance and reliability within the Calibration department. The role provides hands-on experience working with dedicated engineers and cross-functional teams to modernise maintenance strategies and introduce new technologies.

You will learn Airbus systems and lean principles, develop project management and communication skills, and gain exposure to safety, quality, cost, delivery

Qualifications

• Undergraduate status required for the full duration of the placement.
• Pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering with an interest in maintenance and reliability.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Willingness to learn and adapt within Airbus ways of working.
• Experience with Google Suite is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Calibration team in maintenance planning and asset care.
• Support spares management and process improvements in the department.
• Engage with cross-functional teams to drive safety, quality, cost, delivery and people initiatives.
• Contribute to Airbus Operating System and Lean implementation within projects.
