Job summary
Mercedes AMG High Performance Powertrains Ltd offers a rotational placement across Formula One and Advanced Technology engineering, exposing you to Thermofluids, Calibration, Laptime Simulation, and Mechanical/Mechatronics projects. You will collaborate with world-class engineers and work towards chartered status with the IET, supported by a personal mentor.
You will rotate within the Engineering Team to gain breadth—ultimately contributing to the design, optimization and testing of powertrain
Qualifications
- On track to achieve a 2.1 degree in a relevant Mechanical/Automotive/Mechatronics/Motorsport/Aeronautical field
- Strong academic background in Maths or Sciences at A-Level or equivalent
- Hands-on engineering experience to complement academic studies
- Excellent communication and teamwork capabilities
Responsibilities
- Rotate through engineering domains including Formula One and Advanced Technology
- Contribute to definition and delivery of power unit performance concepts
- Assist in laptime simulation, data analysis and experimental validation
- Support design, testing and validation of components and systems
