Job summary

Mercedes AMG High Performance Powertrains Ltd invites applications for a 12-month placement as a Performance Development Engineer in the Thermofluids group. You will generate ideas to improve power unit performance and plan tests on dynos, reporting results to stakeholders.

The role offers a path toward chartered status with the IET, a mentoring program, and exposure to world-class engineering challenges in a Technology Centre environment.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a 2.1 degree or higher in a relevant technical field.
• Strong academic background in maths and sciences.
• Hands-on approach to apply engineering principles.

Responsibilities

• Plan and run test programmes on Single Cylinder and V6 dynos.
• Analyse results and report learnings to the business.
• Collaborate with Simulation, Product Engineering, Test and other teams.
