Job summary

Mercedes AMG High Performance Powertrains Ltd is offering a placement scheme with a rotation plan across Formula One and Advanced Technology. You will gain exposure to Calibration and Controls, Mechatronics and Chassis Engineering, and Test Engineering in a state-of-the-art Technology Centre.

You will work with world-class engineers, see your solutions in racing technology and pursue Chartered status with the IET, supported by a personal mentor throughout the placement.

Qualifications

• You’ll be on track to achieve a 2.1 degree in a relevant engineering field.
• Strong academic background in Maths or Sciences.
• Hands-on experience to complement your studies.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Self-motivation, adaptability and creativity.
• The courage to challenge and expand your technical knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Gain exposure across Formula One Calibration, Mechatronics and Test Engineering.
• Contribute to Advanced Technology software calibration and control.
• Develop and validate engineering solutions in world-class facilities.
• Work with mentors and pursue Chartered status with the IET.
