Job summary

Leonardo UK Ltd. is offering a Summer Placement in Mechanical Engineering at Basildon, UK. This fixed-term program runs June–August 2027 and targets undergraduates to gain hands-on experience across the product lifecycle in a multi-discipline engineering team.

You will work on real-life projects, receive coaching, and have opportunities to return for further placements or graduate development programs. Expect on-site presence three days a week to maximise learning.

Qualifications

• Currently undertaking a minimum of a Bachelor’s level degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar.
• Be a self-motivated individual, willing to take on new challenges and drive personal development.

Responsibilities

• Acquire skills to work within a Professional Engineering environment.
