Proactive Global is seeking a Mechanical Engineer for a Kettering-based manufacturing site. NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds Level 3 / Mechanical Apprenticeship or equivalent is required, along with strong mechanical knowledge and hands-on repair experience.

You will maintain pumps, motors, conveyors and gearboxes, perform fault finding, and support machinery upgrades and reliability improvements. The role offers 54,000–56,000 GBP with a bonus and a strong pension, on 8-hour rotating shifts.

Qualificações

• NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds Level 3 / Mechanical Apprenticeship or equivalent.
• Strong mechanical knowledge.
• Hands-on repair and maintenance experience.
• Good fault-finding ability.
• Willingness to develop within manufacturing.

Responsabilidades

• Planned preventative maintenance on site equipment.

Are you an NVQ Level 3 qualified mechanic or mechanical engineer looking to move into manufacturing?

An established manufacturer in Kettering is looking for mechanically skilled engineers who can bring strong hands-on maintenance and fault-finding experience into its engineering team.

You don't need to already be a Manufacturing Maintenance Engineer. Candidates from automotive, HGV, plant, agricultural, mechanical fitting and forces/REME backgrounds will be considered.

You'll be working on:

• Planned preventative maintenance
• Pumps, motors, conveyors and gearboxes
• Mechanical fault finding and repairs
• Machinery upgrades
• Reliability and continuous improvement projects

You'll need:
