CBRE Global Workplace Solutions in Cambridge is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to perform planned preventive maintenance and reactive works on Heating & Air-Conditioning systems. The role requires ensuring compliance with L8 standards and maintaining records of all activities.

The successful candidate will have formal mechanical services training, experience with pumps, motors, valves, and cooling towers, and a strong commitment to safety and customer service on client sites.

Qualifications

• A good basic education is essential, with good written and spoken English and basic Mathematics skills.
• Formally trained in mechanical services maintenance.
• Basic skills on building management systems would be an advantage.
• Formal health and safety training (Desirable).
• Experience of maintaining Pumps, Motors and Valves.
• Experience of operating Cooling Towers.
• Sound understanding and experience of meeting health and safety obligations with regard to maintenance activities.
• Working on a client site (Desirable).
• Formally certified for Maintenance and Operation of Evaporative Cooling Systems (Desirable).
• Good verbal communication skills.
• Good written English skills.
• Committed to the delivery of excellent customer service.

Responsabilités

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance and reactive works to Heating & Air-Conditioning systems.
• Maintain Evaporative Cooling Systems and Domestic water systems to L8 standard.
• Repair plant faults to keep systems in serviceable order.
• Maintain spare parts availability for above plant.
• Keep comprehensive maintenance records (Frontline).
• Prepare Method Statements and Risk Assessments for tasks.
• Maintain professional image and deliver excellent customer service.
