Job summary

RSP Consulting Engineers - Part of Drees & Sommer seeks a Mechanical Engineer in Edinburgh to lead the mechanical services design in line with project goals. You will work under a project leader while collaborating with a wider team and directly engaging with clients.

The role requires at least five years of relevant M&E experience, a degree or active pursuit of CIBSE membership, and a valid UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in M&E building services design.
• Valid UK driving licence; willingness to travel within the UK.

Location: Edinburgh

Key Responsibilities

Preferred Skills

• Experience with mechanical services design on a varying range of projects.
• Good and confident communication skills.
• Knowledge and understanding of relevant industry design software (i.e. NBS, IES, Bentley Hevacomp or similar).
• AutoCAD and Revit Experience.

Requirements

• Preferably working towards being or Degree qualified and working towards CIBSE membership.
• 5 years + relevant experience.
• Valid UK Driving Licence.
• Willingness to do overtime, when and if required.
• Must be prepared to travel within the UK. This may involve early morning starts, late finishes and occasionally overnight stays.
