G-Stow is recruiting for a Mechanical & Electrical Operative to join our team in Wallingford, Oxfordshire. The role focuses on installing, maintaining and refurbishing mechanical and electrical systems across water infrastructure projects, with hands-on training provided and a company van and PPE supplied.

You will work on pumping infrastructure, diagnose faults, and support project delivery while adhering to safety policies and working with colleagues and customers to deliver high-quality

Qualificações

• Experience in a mechanical, electrical or engineering environment is advantageous, but full training will be provided.
• A positive attitude with willingness to learn and develop new skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Full, clean UK driving licence is essential.
• Flexibility for overtime and travel to customer sites.

Responsabilidades

• Install and maintain a wide range of mechanical apparatus and equipment.
• Install, maintain and repair water-related pumping plant and control equipment.
• Work on pumping infrastructure including pumps and associated assets.
• Diagnose faults and carry out repairs to ensure reliable operation.
• Support project delivery across customer sites.
• Follow Health & Safety policies and safe systems of work.
• Collaborate with colleagues and customers to deliver high-quality solutions.
