An exciting opportunity has arisen at Vauxhall Motors Manufacturing Plant (Stellantis) in Ellesmere Port, Cheshire. Located just off junction 6/7 of the M53, Vauxhall Motors is a well-established car manufacturer in the area.

We are currently looking to recruit Multi Skilled Maintenance Technicians to work at the Ellesmere Port Manufacturing Site.

We have permanent and fixed-term contracts available.

The role will involve a 3-shift rotational pattern, 37.5 hours per week, with the opportunity for overtime.

Main responsibilities and role requirements include:

• Reactive maintenance to resolve breakdowns.
• Performing planned maintenance tasks.
• Supporting production teams during production runs.
• Systematic problem solving for repetitive issues/faults.
• Applying continuous improvement processes (CIP).

Candidates must demonstrate the following:

• Time-served apprenticeship in Multiskilled (Electrical and Mechanical).
• Knowledge of Siemens and Rockwell PLCs is advantageous.
• Fanuc Robot programming and setup skills are advantageous.
• Understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic circuits is advantageous.
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a team.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• A high level of self-motivation and tenacity.
