Person Requirements for the Electrical Maintenance Engineer:

• Time-served engineer, preferably from the Food/FMCG Industry
• Recognized engineering qualification (e.g., HNC/HND/ONC/OND)
• Experience in fast-paced, challenging environments
• Electrically biased with mechanical engineering skills

Job Responsibilities:

Working mainly as the electrical maintenance engineer within a small team, you should have experience in fast-paced manufacturing environments, with electrical expertise and sound knowledge of mechanical systems.

• Collaborate with the Site Engineering Manager, production staff, and technicians to repair process equipment and machinery
• Possess electrical bias with mechanical capabilities
• Engage in 'dirty' tasks within a challenging environment
• Perform troubleshooting and fault finding on plant and machinery
• Conduct planned inspections and proactive maintenance
• Follow site H&S procedures and report risks appropriately
