Your New Company:

A fast-paced food manufacturing business based in Liverpool. This company is going through a period of significant investment, leading to new projects and expansion within the site, production processes, and lines.

• 4 on 4 off Shifts (07:00-19:00 - 4 days, 4 off, 4 nights, 4 off)

Person Requirements for the Electrical Maintenance Engineer:

• Time-served engineer, preferably from the Food/FMCG Industry
• Recognised engineering qualification e.g., HNC/HND/ONC/OND
• Accustomed to fast-paced and challenging working environments
• Electrically biased engineer with mechanical engineering competency

Job Responsibilities for the Electrical Maintenance Engineer:

• Work predominantly as the electrical maintenance engineer within a large team, with experience in fast-paced manufacturing environments, electrical bias, automation, and PLC tasks (Siemens ideally).
• Collaborate with the Site Engineering Manager, production staff, and technicians to carry out repairs to process equipment and plant machinery.
• Electrically biased and capable with controls and automation.
• Engage in 'dirty' tasks within a challenging environment.
• Troubleshoot and perform practical fault-finding on plant and mechanical/electrical machinery.
• Carry out planned inspection routes on process plant and proactive maintenance schedules.
• Follow site H&S procedures and report any risks via the internal reporting process.
