Job summary

Alexander Associates Technical Recruitment is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to join a growing team delivering water and process sector projects. The role involves design through delivery across multiple water industry frameworks and collaboration with Process, EICA, and Civil disciplines.

You will produce mechanical designs, support procurement, and contribute to construction activities, working within BMS/CDM frameworks to ensure compliant, constructible solutions.

Qualifications

• Background in the process industry with water sector experience preferred.
• Experience delivering mechanical designs across projects from concept through delivery.
• Ability to work within multidisciplinary design teams and with clients.
• Knowledge of CDM 2015 and health & safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Produce mechanical designs and technical documentation for water/process projects.
• Collaborate with PMEICA and Civils design teams.
• Support procurement and supply chain activities with technical input.
• Provide technical assistance during construction and site activities.
