Qualifications

Significant civil engineering design experience.
Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret large technical datasets.
Proficiency with engineering software packages.
Understanding of water and wastewater treatment principles.
Experience within the UK water industry is desirable.
Knowledge of water and wastewater infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

Produce cost-effective design layouts that meet project specifications and can be constructed and commissioned efficiently.
Prepare engineering designs, drawings, and technical documentation.
Ensure standard engineering practices are applied where appropriate.
Provide technical input and estimates to support project proposals.
Follow and contribute to engineering procedures and processes.
Monitor and review procedures to support continuous improvement.
Coordinate designs with internal and external stakeholders across multiple disciplines.
Ensure environmental considerations are incorporated into design solutions.
Maintain compliance with all health and safety requirements.
Support a customer-focused culture across projects and departments.
