Job summary

Linea Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to join their design team in Bromsgrove, delivering HVAC and building services for commercial office fit-out projects.

You will work with project managers, engineers and clients to develop practical, buildable mechanical designs from concept through to completion, using Revit and AutoCAD, and coordinating with other disciplines as required.

Qualifications

• Experience as Mechanical Design Engineer within MEP / Building Services.
• Experience on commercial office fit-out projects.
• Strong understanding of mechanical building services.
• Experience within a Design & Build MEP.

Responsibilities

• Producing mechanical designs for commercial office fit-out projects
• Taking projects from initial concept through to detailed design
• HVAC, heating, ventilation and domestic water services design
• Producing calculations, specifications and technical documentation
• Working with Revit and/or AutoCAD
• Coordinating designs with electrical, architectural and structural disciplines
• Liaising with project managers, clients, consultants and subcontractors
• Attending design meetings and site visits where required
• Supporting the project team throughout delivery
• Ensuring designs meet relevant regulations, standards and client requirements
