Vertical Recruitment Limited is recruiting a Mechanical Design Engineer for their Birmingham office. The role covers HVAC, heating, cooling and ventilation design across commercial, education, healthcare, and custodial sectors, with a focus on low-carbon, high-performance solutions.

This position offers hybrid working, clear progression, and exposure to a growing regional team supported by a national consultancy; you'll develop your technical skills and contribute to sustainable design

Qualifications

• Experience in Mechanical Building Services Design.
• Project background in commercial, education, healthcare, or custodial sectors.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Proficient in AutoCAD (experience with Revit is a bonus).
• Full UK driving licence.
• Ambition to progress towards chartership.

Responsibilities

• Deliver mechanical design solutions across a range of sectors.
• Work on HVAC, heating, cooling, and ventilation systems.
• Collaborate with senior engineers and contribute to project delivery.
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to achieve project outcomes.
• Support sustainable and energy-efficient design solutions.
• Produce quality design documentation and technical reports.
