NCR Atleos in Dundee seeks a Mechanical Design Engineer to join a cross-functional team focusing on media handling devices used in self-service products such as ATMs. You will design mechanisms, perform analyses, and collaborate with suppliers to deliver robust, cost-effective solutions.

The role requires a Mechanical Engineering degree (Hons 2:1 preferred) and 3+ years of post-graduate experience, with CAD expertise in ProE/Creo or Solidworks. Travel may be required.

Qualificações

• A Degree in Mechanical Engineering (Hons 2:1 or better preferred).
• Minimum of 3 years post-graduate related experience.

Responsabilidades

• Support new and existing media handling products from a mechanical perspective.
• Evaluate different technologies and provide recommendations with backup analysis.
• Gain experience in the design of mechanisms, working with tooling suppliers and parts manufacture.
• Deliver cost effective designs to specification and engineering standards.
• Collaborate with engineers from different disciplines.
• Hold design reviews, stress analysis, assembly tolerances, testing and problem correction CLCA.
• Release work products with documentation to implement design changes.
