NCR Atleos in Dundee, UK is seeking a Lead Mechanical Design Engineer to drive mechanical development for currency handling modules used in our self-service ATM solutions. You will lead engineering teams across Dundee and collaborate with global facilities and suppliers.

The role requires several years of mechanical design experience, strong knowledge of mechanisms, and CAD proficiency (ProE or SolidWorks). A degree in Mechanical Engineering is preferred.

Formación

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering with Hons 2:1 or better.
• Experience in designing mechanical systems with electro/mechanical integration.
• Familiarity with currency handling/mechatronic systems and suppliers.

Responsabilidades

• Provide design leadership for currency handling modules and tests.
• Evaluate technologies and back up with analysis.
• Lead mechanical development activities and provide estimates.
• Collaborate with tooling suppliers and parts manufacturers.
• Deliver cost-effective designs per specifications and standards.
• Engage suppliers and manage design changes across lifecycles.
• Lead design validation via reviews, stress analysis, and testing.
