NCR Atleos in Dundee, UK, is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to join a multidisciplinary team designing media handling devices for self-service products such as ATMs. You will contribute to the design, evaluation and testing from concept to release, collaborating with suppliers and other engineers.

Candidates should have a Mechanical Engineering degree and 2–4 years’ post-graduate design experience, CAD proficiency (ProE/Creo or SolidWorks), knowledge of tolerancing and FEA, and be prepared

Qualifications

• A degree in Mechanical Engineering (Hons 2:1 or better).
• Minimum of 3 years post-graduate related experience.
• Knowledge of high speed, document handling, and autonomous systems is a plus.
• Experience with CAD tools and drawing standards.

Responsabilités

• Support new and existing media handling products from a mechanical perspective.
• Evaluate technologies and provide backup analysis.
• Design mechanisms, work with tooling suppliers and parts manufacture.
• Deliver cost effective designs to specification and standards.
• Engage suppliers and manage changes.
• Collaborate with engineers from other disciplines.
• Lead design reviews, stress analysis, tolerancing, testing, and issue resolution.
• Release work products with documentation for implementation.
