Matthew James Group Ltd in the United Kingdom is seeking an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer (AutoCAD Inventor) to produce practical, accurate mechanical designs and support product development.

You will create 3D models, assemblies and detailed 2D drawings, maintain BOMs and collaborate with engineering and production teams to ensure manufacturability and design for manufacture. Proficiency in Inventor/AutoCAD and a mechanical engineering degree are essential.

Qualificações

• Requires degree in mechanical engineering or related discipline.
• Excellent knowledge of engineering principles and manufacturing processes.
• Strong attention to detail and good communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Produce 3D models, assemblies and detailed 2D manufacturing drawings.
• Create and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs).
• Develop new designs and modify existing products.
• Produce fabrication and assembly drawings with dimensions, tolerances and materials.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve design/manufacturing issues.
• Maintain accurate engineering documentation and drawing revisions.
