Reevr Talent Ltd is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to own projects from concept to final drawings for bespoke automated equipment across diverse industries. You will develop mechanical solutions, liaise with customers, and drive design for manufacture while collaborating with internal teams.

The role focuses on detailed 3D CAD work, 2D drawings, and cross-disciplinary integration of electrical and pneumatic controls, with clear progression opportunities within the engineering team.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum five years' experience in mechanical design or similar machinery design.
• Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles and design best practice.
• Experience producing detailed 2D drawings and 3D models.
• Experience with design for manufacture and cost optimisation.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Aufgaben

• Manage mechanical design projects from initial concept through to detailed design and drawings.
• Produce 3D CAD models and 2D drawings for components, assemblies and bespoke equipment.
• Evaluate designs for functionality, performance, cost and manufacturability.
• Collaborate with internal departments to ensure successful project delivery.
• Liaise with customers to understand requirements and communicate design solutions.
• Develop prototypes and support testing to verify functionality and performance.
• Research new technologies, materials and engineering methods to support continuous improvement.
• Produce design proposals, risk assessments and equipment manuals.
• Consider integration of electrical and pneumatic control systems within mechanical designs.
