Zusammenfassung

ReeVR is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to own bespoke machinery projects from concept to detailed design. You will create 3D CAD models and 2D drawings, evaluate designs for cost and manufacturability, and collaborate across departments to deliver robust engineering solutions.

You will liaise with customers, develop prototypes, and explore new technologies to drive continuous improvement. A strong focus on manufacturability and documentation will be essential.

Qualifikationen

• A minimum of five years' experience in a Mechanical Design Engineer or similar special-purpose machinery design role.
• Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles and design best practice.
• Experience using 3D CAD software
• An appreciation of electrical and pneumatic control systems and their integration into mechanical designs.
• Experience producing detailed 2D engineering drawings and 3D models.
• A good understanding of design for manufacture, cost optimisation and engineering performance.
• Excellent communication skills, with the confidence to liaise with colleagues and customers.
• Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail.
• A proactive, self-motivated approach with the ability to manage workloads and take ownership of projects.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

• Manage mechanical design projects from initial concept to detailed design and drawings.
