Our client is the largest privately owned UK manufacture supplying bespoke sheet metal equipment into sectors such as data centres and hospitals. As the largest privately owned businesses in their field they do all design, manufacturing and installation in house across multiple UK sites.
The business has seen sustained growth and an extremely busy order book. As a result, they are looking to expand their engineering team and are recruiting a Mechanical Design Engineer to join the team as soon as possible.
This is a highly CAD focused Mechanical Design Engineer role, working closely in design and production teams to deliver bespoke fabricated assemblies.
You will receive initial layout information and be responsible for developing detailed manufacturing designs for sheet‑metal enclosures and assemblies used within electrical systems.
This role is primarily AutoCAD 2D focused, with occasional 3D work.
