Job summary

CIBSE Journal is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer in Fareham to join a specialist industrial cooling and heat transfer equipment maker. In a Monday-Friday office-based role, you will design bespoke equipment, create 3D CAD models and manufacturing drawings, and perform engineering calculations with the support of the engineering team.

You will bring Mechanical Design or Product Design experience and Autodesk Inventor expertise, with sheet metal knowledge welcomed.

Are you a Mechanical Design Engineer looking to join an established international manufacturer offering specialist training and a clear route into Senior Engineer and Project Lead positions?

This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing manufacturer of specialist industrial cooling and heat transfer equipment, where you will receive ongoing technical development whilst working on varied, bespoke engineering projects.

The company have over 50 years of industry experience and manufacture specialist engineered products for customers across a range of industrial sectors. Due to continued growth, they are now looking to add a Mechanical Design Engineer to their close-knit technical team.

In this Monday-Friday, office-based role, you will be responsible for the design and development of bespoke mechanical equipment, producing 3D CAD models, manufacturing drawings and engineering calculations. You will work closely with the wider engineering and manufacturing teams throughout the design process.

This role would suit a Mechanical Design Engineer with Autodesk Inventor experience looking to develop technically within a stable and expanding engineering business.

The Role:

• Monday-Friday, office-based position.
