Job summary

Harvey Group is seeking a Mechanical Contracts Manager to lead and deliver mechanical contracts across pre-construction to handover. You will manage budgets, programmes, procurement, and site teams, ensuring client satisfaction and compliance with HSE standards.

Procore, BIM and MS Project will be used to drive project delivery. The role requires at least 5 years' experience in M&E or construction, strong leadership, and excellent commercial acumen.

Qualifications

• 5 years experience delivering mechanical projects within the M&E or construction industry.
• Excellent commercial awareness with the ability to manage budgets and control costs.
• Strong leadership and organisational skills with the ability to motivate teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage mechanical contracts from pre-construction through to completion.
• Ensure all contractual, financial, and programme requirements are achieved.
• Manage procurement of materials, plant and subcontractor packages.
• Provide clear leadership and direction to project teams, site supervisors and subcontractors.
• Maintain strong client relationships through regular meetings, updates, and professional communication.
• Oversee labour allocation and resource planning to ensure effective project delivery.
• Ensure compliance with all Health & Safety requirements and company policies.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement corrective actions where required.
• Promote innovation, sustainability, and digital tools (e.g. Procore, BIM, MS Project) in project delivery.

The Role

The Person

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word etc)
• Strong client-facing skills with the ability to build lasting professional relationships.
• Working knowledge of NI/UK and ROI regulations and standards.

Knowledge of Procore (training will be provided).
