Job summary

Harvey Group is seeking a Mechanical Supervisor / Site Manager to lead on-site delivery across NI projects with occasional travel to ROI and GB. You will manage labour, procure materials, ensure quality installations, and coordinate with clients and subcontractors to hit time and budget targets.

The role requires a plumbing/heating trade background, a clean driving license, and strong health & safety knowledge, with Procore familiarity offered via training.

Qualifications

• Plumbing/heating trade background is required.
• Clean driving license is required.
• Good Health and Safety knowledge.
• PC literacy with Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Attention to detail in all installation work.
• Organised and disciplined planning and approach.
• Able to multitask and work under pressure.
• Self-motivated with a can-do approach.
• Work well as part of a team in a busy environment.
• Knowledge of Procore (training provided).

Responsibilities

• Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
• Procurement of general day-to-day materials.
• Control labour and coordinate with other trades on-site.
• Ensure all installations are of the highest quality.
• Ensure installations comply with the latest regulations.
• Meet with clients, main contractors, and subcontractors regularly.
• Procurement and management of hire equipment on-site.
• Prepare short-term lookahead programmes and input into the master programme.
• Provide regular progress and performance reports to the Contracts Manager.
• Carry out site-based Health, Safety and Quality inspections.

While the majority of our projects are in NI, the candidate should be willing to travel to projects in ROI and GB.

Key responsibilities and duties of this role

• Ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget
• Procurement of general day-to-day materials
• Responsible for the control of labour and their coordination with other trades on-site
• Ensure all installations are of the highest quality
• Ensuring the installation complies with the latest relevant regulations
• Meeting with clients, main contractors, and subcontractors regularly
• Procurement and management of hire equipment on-site
• Preparation of short-term lookahead programmes and inputting into the overall master programme
• Provide regular reports on progress and performance to the Contracts Manager
• Carry out site based Health, Safety and Quality inspections

Skills and qualifications

• PC literate with competency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
