Job summary

METLEN Energy & Metals is seeking a Mechanical Construction Manager to lead EPC mechanical construction activities within the Grid & Digital Solutions department as part of the Thermal Power & HVDC division for the EGL1 Project.

Ideal candidates will bring 10+ years of EPC project experience, a Mechanical Engineering degree, and strong English communication skills. Travel will be required, and familiarity with PM certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in managing EPC projects.
• University degree in Mechanical Engineering or relevant field.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Certification in Project Management will be considered an asset.
• Excellent verbal and written communication in English language.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to travel.

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical construction activities from initiation to completion, ensuring they meet quality, budget, and timeline requirements.
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including contracts, drawings, technical specifications, and change orders.
• Provide regular reports on project status, including progress, budget adherence, and any issues.
• Facilitate communication between project stakeholders to resolve conflicts and ensure project objectives are met.
• Establish and enforce quality control procedures to ensure mechanical construction works meet specified standards.
• Conduct regular reviews and inspections of project deliverables.
