Job summary

METLEN Energy & Metals seeks an experienced Electrical Construction Manager to lead all electrical construction activities for the EGL1 Project in Torness, Scotland. You will oversee on-site teams, subcontractors, and vendors, ensuring safe, on-time delivery within budget and in full compliance with QA/QC and HSE standards.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, 10+ years in energy infrastructure construction, and strong leadership, communication, and planning

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related discipline.
• 10+ years in electrical construction for large energy infrastructure.
• Experience managing site construction teams and EPC subcontractors.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical construction on site, ensure specs, schedules, QA/QC, and HSE.
• Coordinate site teams, subcontractors, and vendors for efficient execution.
• Drive planning and execution to deliver on time and within budget.
• Monitor progress, identify risks, implement corrective actions.
• Promote safety and ensure compliance with standards.
