Job summary

Interaction Recruitment Group is seeking a Mobile Vehicle Technician to inspect and service vehicles across the Camberley region (GU17). The role is field-based, with travel to multiple BCA sites and close collaboration with customers to ensure high-quality service delivery.

You should hold an NVQ Level 2 in light vehicle maintenance or equivalent, have strong mechanical knowledge, understanding of diagnostics, and a full UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 light vehicle maintenance or equivalent required.
• Comprehensive mechanical knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair.
• Understanding of vehicle diagnostics, software updates, and electric/hybrid vehicles is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Conduct vehicle inspections following established procedures and report findings.
• Complete used vehicle condition reports.
• Collaborate with team to maintain daily site inspections.
• Engage with customer contacts to ensure high quality service delivery.
• Travel to various BCA sites within your region; occasional longer trips as needed.

Job description

Vehicle Technician / Mechanic

£12.71 per hour (£28,089k annually) plus bonus (OTE around £35k)

Hours - 8.15am-5.45pm Monday to Friday

This role is for a mobile position which will see you working the vast majority of the time at the Camberley site (GU17)

As a Vehicle Inspector, you'll be responsible for:

• Conducting vehicle inspections following established procedures, reporting findings via a PDA report template
• Complete used vehicle condition reports
• Collaborate with team members to maintain daily site inspections
• Engage with customer contacts to ensure high quality service delivery
• Travel to various BCA sites within your agreed region will be regular, however, travel to further distances will be expected if and when needed

What we're looking for

To excel in this role, you must have:

• An NVQ Level 2 light vehicle maintenance qualification (or equivalent)
• Comprehensive mechanical knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair
• An understanding of vehicle diagnostics, software updates, and electric/hybrid vehicles (advantageous)
• Strong written communication skills and the ability to interact effectively at all levels
• A full UK driving licence
