Job summary

Interaction Recruitment seeks a Vehicle Technician / Mechanic for a mobile role primarily servicing the Camberley area (GU17). You will conduct inspections, complete condition reports, and report findings via PDA.

Travel to BCA sites in the region is regular, with occasional longer-distance trips. Requires an NVQ Level 2 in light vehicle maintenance, strong mechanical knowledge, and a full UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• Understanding of diagnostics and software updates; electric/hybrid knowledge advantageous.
• Full UK driving licence essential.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Job description

Vehicle Technician / Mechanic

£12.71 per hour (£28,089k annually) plus bonus (OTE around £35k)

Hours - 8.15am-5.45pm Monday to Friday

This role is for a mobile position which will see you working the vast majority of the time at the Camberley site (GU17)

As a Vehicle Inspector, you'll be responsible for:

• Conducting vehicle inspections following established procedures, reporting findings via a PDA report template
• Complete used vehicle condition reports
• Collaborate with team members to maintain daily site inspections
• Engage with customer contacts to ensure high quality service delivery
• Travel to various BCA sites within your agreed region will be regular, however, travel to further distances will be expected if and when needed

What we're looking for

To excel in this role, you must have:

• An NVQ Level 2 light vehicle maintenance qualification (or equivalent)
• Comprehensive mechanical knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair
• An understanding of vehicle diagnostics, software updates, and electric/hybrid vehicles (advantageous)
• Strong written communication skills and the ability to interact effectively at all levels
• A full UK driving licence
