Job summary

Interaction Recruitment is seeking a Vehicle Technician / Mechanic for a mobile role predominantly based at the Camberley site (GU17). The role involves inspecting vehicles, completing condition reports, and delivering high-quality service with regular travel to BCA sites within the region.

You should have an NVQ Level 2 in light vehicle maintenance (or equivalent), solid mechanical knowledge, familiarity with diagnostics and software updates, and a valid UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 light vehicle maintenance qualification (or equivalent)
• Strong mechanical knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair
• Understanding of vehicle diagnostics, software updates, and electric/hybrid vehicles (advantageous)
• Excellent written communication and ability to interact at all levels
• A full UK driving licence

• Conducting vehicle inspections following established procedures, reporting findings via a PDA report template
• Complete used vehicle condition reports
• Collaborate with team members to maintain daily site inspections
• Engage with customer contacts to ensure high quality service delivery
• Travel to various BCA sites within your agreed region will be regular, however, travel to further distances will be expected if and when needed

Vehicle Technician / Mechanic

£12.71 per hour (£28,089k annually) plus bonus (OTE around £35k)

Hours - 8.15am-5.45pm Monday to Friday

This role is for a mobile position which will see you working the vast majority of the time at the Camberley site (GU17)

What we're looking for

To excel in this role, you must have:

• Strong written communication skills and the ability to interact effectively at all levels
