Job Title: Mechanic / Engineer / Car Builder

Tomcat Motorsport Ltd is seeking a versatile mechanic, engineer, or car builder. This role involves more than typical garage work; it includes building and partially building Tomcat road and competition cars, repairing racing damage, and servicing off-road and track competition vehicles, along with fabrication tasks.

The ideal candidate should be resourceful, capable of solving technical and construction problems, and skilled in electrical system repair and build. Light fabrication, fibre glass repairs, welding, and machining skills are preferred but not mandatory.

The successful applicant will work under the supervision of the project engineer and collaborate with other team members, both permanent and freelance.

This position can be part-time, suitable for a qualified mechanic seeking a career change or a skilled car builder looking for part-time work during retirement. A clean UK driving licence is required, as road testing and off-site testing will be part of the job.
