Tomcat Motorsport Ltd is seeking a versatile mechanic, engineer, or car builder. This role is distinct from a typical garage mechanic position; it involves building and partially building Tomcat road and competition cars, repairing racing damage, and servicing various off-road and track competition vehicles, including fabrication work.

The ideal candidate will be resourceful, capable of solving technical and build problems, and skilled in electrical systems repair. Light fabrication, fibre glass repairs, welding, and machining skills are advantageous but not mandatory.

The successful applicant will work under the supervision of the project engineer alongside other team members, both permanent and freelance.

This position can be offered part-time and is suitable for a qualified mechanic seeking a career change or a skilled car builder interested in part-time work during retirement. A clean UK driving license is required, as road testing and off-road testing will be part of the job.
