Job Opportunity: Mechanic / Engineer / Car Builder at Tomcat Motorsport Ltd

Tomcat Motorsport Ltd is seeking a versatile professional to join our team. This role is distinct from a typical 'motor garage' mechanic position and involves:

1. Building and partially building Tomcat road and competition cars.
2. Repairing and servicing racing damage and other off-road and track competition vehicles.
3. Fabrication work, including light welding and fibre glass repairs.

The ideal candidate will be a capable mechanic with resourcefulness and problem-solving skills, experienced in electrical systems repair, with some fabrication, welding, and machining skills preferred but not essential. You will work under the project engineer alongside other team members, both permanent and self-employed.

This role can be part-time, suitable for qualified mechanics seeking a change or skilled car builders looking for part-time work, including those in retirement. A clean UK driving licence is required, as road and off-road testing will be part of the job.
