Job summary

Vertu Vauxhall Waltham Cross is actively seeking Vehicle Technicians or Mechanics across experience levels. Salaries range from £30,000 to £49,780 depending on skills and experience, plus a £4,000 sign-on bonus. We are open to four-day weeks and flexible hours to improve work-life balance.

Entry levels include Service & Maintenance Technician up to Master Technician. You’ll benefit from brand training, clear progression, and ongoing development as part of Vertu Motors.

Qualifications

• Relevant vehicle maintenance and repair experience.
• Your own set of tools.
• A full UK driving licence.
• Additional qualifications such as MOT licence, EV qualification or manufacturer accreditation may allow entry at a higher technician level.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, service, diagnose and repair vehicles to high workmanship standards.
• Support customers and ensure quality service across Vertu Motors dealerships.
• Progress and training opportunities to advance from Technician to Senior/Master Technician.

As a Vehicle Technician or Mechanic, you'll be responsible for maintaining, servicing, diagnosing and repairing vehicles for our customers, while delivering the high standards of workmanship expected across our dealerships.

Whether your experience as a Technician or Mechanic has been gained within an independent garage, fast-fit environment or franchised dealership, we're interested in hearing from people who want to continue developing their career.

To be successful, you'll need:
