Job summary

Kepak Group in Merthyr Tydfil operates beef and lamb processing and packing facilities and is seeking people to pack meat for delivery to customers. You will work on a Production Line in a cold environment, ensuring product quality and preparing items for packaging.

You will follow safety rules, meet daily production targets on a 3 on/3 off shift pattern from 6:00am to 6:30pm, and earn £12.90 per hour. The role is full-time and permanent with comprehensive employee benefits.

Qualifications

• Ability to work on a production line in a chilled environment.
• Maintain high quality standards by following clear processes and customer specifications.
• Flexibility to meet daily production targets and adhere to safety rules.

Responsibilities

• Check meat cuts against specifications and ensure correct packaging layout.
• Arrange meat in packaging and place trays/boxes on pallets to customer specs.
• Verify pack weights and reject items outside quality standards as needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and follow PPE rules.
• Operate on a production line within a cold environment.
