Kepak Group in Merthyr Tydfil is hiring for full-time staff to join our Retail production line, packing beef and lamb for customers. You will work on a cold production line, on a 3 on/3 off shift pattern from 6.00am to 6.30pm, ensuring packs meet specifications and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Check the cuts of meat to ensure they meet specifications
• Recognise different cuts of meat (training provided)
• Arrange meat in packaging according to display requirements
• Place trays/boxes on pallets to customer specification
• Ensure pack weight is correct
• Work in a chilled environment
• Be flexible to meet daily production targets

Responsabilités

• Check the cuts of meat to ensure that they are in line with specifications
• Be able to recognise the different cuts of meat (training will be given)
• Arrange meat in packaging, complying with display requirements
• Placing trays/boxes on correct pallets to customer specification
• Ensure that the pack weight is correct
• Reject any items including packaging and meats that look to be outside of our quality specifications
• Be working in a chilled environment
• Flexible to meet daily production targets
