Kepak St. Merryn in Merthyr Tydfil is recruiting Ancillary Operatives for a full-time, permanent role at our busy manufacturing site. Shifts start at 5:30am or 6:00am with flexible finish based on production needs. The starting hourly rate is £12.90.

This position involves slaughtering-related tasks, precision preparation of meat, and working in a cold, raw-meat environment. You will be part of a team ensuring quality and safety in production.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work in staff environment handling raw meat and blood.
• Ability to work in a team or independently as required.
• Ability to maintain safety and hygiene standards in a meat processing setting.

Responsabilités

• Cut, trim, skin, sort and wash viscera of slaughtered animals.
• Process animal carcasses and dress according to specifications.
• Prepare meat products for sale or consumption.
