Job summary

The Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an organised MDT Navigator to coordinate multi-disciplinary meetings and manage patient data. You will schedule meetings, prepare materials, document discussions and support clinicians with timely patient pathways.

Responsibilities include data management, reporting and ensuring updates are shared with referring trusts, contributing to NHS cancer waiting times targets, and maintaining strong administrative support across the MDT team.

Qualifications

• Good academic standard or equivalent (demonstrated through relevant administrative experience).
• Knowledge of medical terminology.
• Understanding of cancer waiting times.
• Understanding of cancer care.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate MDT meetings and ensure timely scheduling.
• Maintain and distribute MDT agendas and materials.
• Document MDT discussions and ensure decisions are recorded within 24 hours.
• Support virtual and face-to-face meetings and resolve technical issues.
• Track patients in MDT pathways and communicate targets at meetings.
