Job summary

Millennium Support is seeking a Quality Improvement & MCA Lead for our Quality & Governance Team at Head Office. Hybrid working available with regular travel to services. The role leads MCA compliance, supports audits, reviews and quality improvement, and collaborates with operational teams to embed person-centred practices.

You will provide expert guidance, coaching and risk assessment, drive improvements, promote least restrictive practice, and contribute to safeguarding and incident learning.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in adult social care, healthcare, quality assurance or governance.
• Strong operational knowledge of MCA, DoLS, consent and best-interest decisions.
• Good understanding of the Mental Health Act and CQC requirements.
• Experience auditing and reviewing practice with clear reporting.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialist advice and assurance on MCA and best-interest decisions.
• Support managers to identify risks and improve practice.
• Provide coaching and constructive challenge.
• Promote lawful, person-centred decision-making.
• Contribute to audits, reviews and quality assurance.
• Lead quality improvement initiatives related to MCA, DoLS and restrictive practice.
• Support learning from incidents and safeguarding concerns.
• Collaborate with managers to improve outcomes.
