Job summary

Cafcass is seeking a Senior Improvement Manager to join the National Improvement Service, leading quality assurance and improvement efforts for children and families across the country.

You will work with Heads of Practice and the Deputy Director for Performance and Quality Assurance to drive learning, auditing, and change initiatives, including performance management and staff development. Flexible/location-aware leadership is offered.

Qualifications

• Experience in Quality Assurance and Improvement methodologies in a Social Work capacity.
• Proven ability to provide effective feedback that leads to measurable impact.
• Strong frontline management experience with a focus on performance management.
• Track record of managing programmes of change, with measurable outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee key aspects of quality assurance and improvement across the organisation.
• Provide constructive feedback to teams to drive performance and professional development.
• Manage a team of Improvement Managers and collaborate with departments to align with goals.
• Support learning, development, audits, and multi-agency reviews to improve practice.
