Job summary

Vbeyond is seeking an experienced Maximo Project Manager to lead a major upgrade and migration programme in the Aerospace & Defence sector, including Maximo 7.6 on Oracle to MAS 9.x on DB2 in Azure.

The role requires RAID, governance, stakeholder management, vendor coordination and cross-technical workstreams; SC clearance is required, with 1–2 onsite days per week in Derby.

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of a large-scale Maximo upgrade and migration programme.
• Manage programme delivery across multiple technical and business workstreams.
• Own and maintain RAID logs and actively manage risks, assumptions, issues and dependencies.
• Establish and maintain project governance and reporting.
• Coordinate delivery across architecture, infrastructure, application and database teams.
• Manage key stakeholder relationships across business and technical teams.
• Coordinate with vendors and third-party delivery partners.
• Manage project schedules, milestones, dependencies and delivery plans.
• Track progress against scope, timelines and deliverables.
• Identify delivery risks and drive mitigation and resolution.
• Coordinate activities across the wider Aerospace & Defence programme.
• Provide regular status reporting to programme leadership.
• Support escalation and resolution of delivery issues.

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Maximo Project Manager to lead delivery of a major Maximo upgrade and migration programme within the Aerospace & Defence sector.

The programme involves the technical upgrade and lift-and-shift migration of an existing Maximo 7.6 environment running on Oracle to Maximo Application Suite (MAS) 9.x running on DB2, hosted in Azure Cloud.

The Project Manager will be responsible for overall delivery coordination, governance, RAID management, stakeholder engagement, vendor coordination and schedule management across multiple technical workstreams.

• Lead the delivery of a large-scale Maximo upgrade and migration programme.
• Manage programme delivery across multiple technical and business workstreams.
• Own and maintain RAID logs, ensuring risks, assumptions, issues and dependencies are actively managed.
