Job summary

IT WORLD LIMITED in Derby, UK is seeking a hybrid, 8-month project focused on a Maximo upgrade and migration within the Aerospace & Defence sector. The role covers RAID/governance management, vendor and schedule oversight, with the start date 12 October 2026 and end date 21 May 2027.

Location: Derby, UK (Hybrid- 2 days in a week)

Overview

This project is a technical-focused Maximo upgrade and migration programme within the Aerospace & Defence sector.

Technical: This is a Maximo Upgrade + Migration (Lift & Shift) Project

Technical upgrade and database migration of Client's current Maximo 7.6 on Oracle database to MAS 9.x on DB2 database in Azure Cloud

These activities will be a technical 'like for like' upgrade and migration of the current Maximo designs into MAS 9.x, including changes required due to the upgrade and necessary remediations

The start date is 12th October 2026, and the end date is 21st May 2027 (8 months)
