Job summary

Vbeyond is seeking an experienced Maximo Developer to support a major upgrade and migration programme in the Aerospace & Defence sector. The role covers customisation, Java development and automation scripting for MAS 9.x on DB2 in Azure.

The candidate will upgrade and remediate upgrades, develop integrations, and perform unit testing while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver the MAS upgrade project from Maximo 7.6.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on Maximo 7.6 and MAS 9.x development experience.
• Experience with Maximo customisation and integration development.

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Maximo Developer to support a major technical Maximo upgrade and migration programme within the Aerospace & Defence sector.

The programme involves the technical upgrade and lift-and-shift migration of an existing Maximo 7.6 environment running on Oracle to Maximo Application Suite (MAS) 9.x running on DB2, hosted in Azure Cloud.

The successful candidate will be responsible for Maximo customisation and development, Java and automation scripting, integration development, upgrade remediation, unit testing and debugging.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and customise solutions across Maximo 7.6 and MAS 9.x.
• Develop and maintain Maximo application customisations.
• Use Java for Maximo development and customisation activities.
• Develop automation scripts to support Maximo business and technical processes.
• Analyse existing customisations and determine changes required for the MAS upgrade.
• Perform upgrade remediation and resolve compatibility issues.
• Develop and maintain integrations between Maximo and external systems.
• Support API and integration development activities.
• Perform unit testing of developed solutions and customisations.
• Debug and troubleshoot application and integration issues.
• Support technical migration activities from Maximo 7.6 to MAS 9.x.

• SC Clearance required or candidate must be eligible and able to obtain it.
• Ability to work 1-2 days per week onsite in Derby.
